VACU-ACTOR Technology

VACU-ACTOR cupping therapy is a modern version of ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine method of cupping.
Cupping involves placing plastic cup on the skin and creating a vacuum by suctioning out the air. The underlying tissue is raised, or sucked, partway into the cup. The purpose of cupping is to enhance circulation, help relieve pain, remove “heat” and pull out the toxins.

Treatment example:

Muscle ache / trigger points
The appropriate VACU-Cup must be selected for the body area in question.
Using a body oil helps the VACU-Cups to slide over the skin more easily.
For a local treatment in VC mode, you should release the vacuum after 30 – 60 s and repeat the process 5 – 10 times for each trigger point.
Intensity levels 1 and 2 are recommended for a vacuum massage in VC mode. Body oil is applied to the area of the body in question. The VACU-Cup attaches via suction and you can begin gentle movements over the skin.

Connective tissue massage

  • The connective tissue massage is mainly performed on the thigh area.
  • The use of size M or L VACU-Cups is recommended.
  • Using a body oil helps the VACU-Cups to slide over the skin more easily.
  • Depending on the patient’s pain sensation, the intensity should be set as high as possible in order to work the tissue intensively.
  • Using this technique in the direction of the lymph drainage can have an additional beneficial effect.

Lymph drainage

  • In most cases, lymph drainage is performed on the extremities.
  • Any size of VACU-Cup can be used depending on the area of the body in question.
  • Using a body oil helps the VACU-Cups to slide over the skin more easily.
  • Using this technique in the direction of the lymph drainage enhances the treatment significantly.
  • During the treatment, the rules for traditional lymph drainage should be observed.
